Andrew Glaeser

Andrew earned his Bachelor of Science at Northern Illinois University in Mechanical Engineering and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His thesis work focuses on Smart Manufacturing and its application in industry. His focus is on sensor implementation and data analytics. Primarily, his research involves collecting data (vibration, temperature, acoustics) from a cold forging machine and performing data processing techniques to extract important signal features, passing the extracted features into a prediction algorithm, and predicting die failure from the extracted features.
